Omega Fluid is a mineral insulating oil, for use in transformers, switchgear, and other electrical devices.  Made from highly refined petroleum oils, Omega Fluid meets all industry standards for mineral oils. 

Omega Fluid has excellent electrical and physical characteristics.  It is compatible with other standard transformer oils and the transformer materials used with standard mineral oil. 

Applications:  Omega Fluid can be used in any equipment that uses liquid dielectric cooling oil. 

Performance:  Omega Fluid has excellent electrical and heat transfer characteristics.  It's highly refined and has antioxidant additives to slow the effets of ageing.  

Processing and Handling:  Omega Fluid can be processed, handled and tested in exactly the same way as other standard oils, and with the same equipment. Omega Fluid is not toxic or hazardous to workers.  Omega Fluid contains no corrosive sulfur.  And, unlike soybean vegetable oil - based fluids, Omega Fluid resists oxidation and polymerization.
